June Zhu is a Staff Product Manager at WGU Labs, where she leads the development of Stu, an AI-poweredstudent support assistant designed to enhance learner success throughproactive, personalized guidance. She manages cross-functional teams spanningengineering, UI/UX, and research, and coordinates with partner researchinstitutes to ensure the product is grounded in evidence-based practices. June brings over 20 years ofexperience in product development, program management, and consulting. Her career spans Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and startups,where she has delivered strategic vision and led teams in building productsfrom concept to launch. June is an accomplished speakerwith competitive experience in Toastmasters International, where she won firstplace in the Division Speech Contest and second place in the District Contest. June holds a Master’s degree in BiomedicalInformatics from University of Texas Health Science Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing,University of Maryland.
