Lesley Reilly

Senior LXD

Lesley is a Senior Learning Experience Designer at WGU Labs where she collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop engaging learning experiences. She is passionate about the power of education to change lives. After graduating from the University of Michigan, she started her career as an elementary teacher, first in Virginia and later in Massachusetts before taking a year to pursue Master's degree studying the impact of technology in education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has worked at EdTech Leaders Online, the Education Development Center's capacity-building online learning program for educators where she developed and facilitated online teacher professional development programs. Lesley wanted to continue doing work that supported educators so she joined the Teachers College program development team at Western Governor’s University. While there, Lesley collaborated with colleagues, course instructors, assessment developers, and evaluators to create competency-based courses that helped to prepare future generations of classroom teachers and educational leaders for success. She joined the WGU Labs team in January of 2022. When not working, Lesley is always training for some endurance event, hiking with her two dogs, or supporting her two teenage daughters at swim meets and film festivals. She also proudly supports her husband, a computer science teacher who dedicates his time outside of school with the robotics team and STEM initiatives.
