Megan Imundo

Research Scientist

Megan’s research at WGU Labs is centered on the effects of AI-powered learning technology. Her mixed-methods work relies on surveys, semi-structured interviews, and large datasets. Megan’s past research has included investigations of collaborative learning, metacognition, and undergraduate students’ learning strategies. She has authored over 20 publications, which have appeared in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Research in Memory and Cognition, Behavior Research Instruments, and Teaching of Psychology, and her research has been funded by the Association for Psychological Science and the Society for the Teaching of Psychology. Megan holds a PhD in Psychology with a minor in Quantitative Methods and a certificate in Writing Pedagogy from UCLA. When she isn’t in the lab, Megan is playing with her cat, Sesame, or working on the next iteration of her chocolate chip cookie recipe.
